Education: Graduate: Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, John F. Kennedy University. Master of Arts in Education, Special Interest in Counseling and Administration, San Francisco State University. Undergraduate: Theatre Arts, American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Professional Affiliations/Certifications: California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT). International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP).

Professional Interests: My primary professional interest is in treating people struggling with eating disorders.  Eating disorders are extremely complex involving a myriad of different clinical methods shown to have promising outcomes.  Because people suffering with eating disorders are extremely diverse, it is important to respect each individual client’s needs.  I am also very drawn to a process known as “Playback Theatre”.  Although Playback Theatre is NOT therapy, it has highly therapeutic outcomes.  Playback Theatre is a process of which actors reenact personal stories told by audience members for all to bear witness.

Personal Interests: Music, theatre, writing, hiking, dogs, bargain hunting, spending time with family.
