Professional Interests: Specialized training in family therapy, crisis intervention, trauma, ACT and CBT.  I am particularly interested in how family of origin issues (culture, immigration history, generational trauma, etc.) impact individual coping and adjustment.  As a first-generation college graduate, I am also interested in the unique challenges and needs of other first generation students.  Other experience/interest:  substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
