Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Laboratory Benefits Under Cardinal Care
Vaden Health Center is aware that some DME and diagnostic laboratory benefits have been adjudicated at the incorrect tier as part of the transition to Aetna Student Health in September 2023. It is our understanding that DME and lab claims which were adjudicated incorrectly have now been reprocessed.
DME and Laboratory testing
Vaden has been working directly with Aetna Student Health to identify Tier 1 providers for both DME and Laboratory testing.
The following DME providers are in Tier 1
- Byram Healthcare
- Advanced Diabetes Supply (ADS)
- Edgepark Medical
- Apria
Stanford Health Care labs and Quest Diagnostics (each of which are used by Vaden Health Center for specimen processing) are currently Tier 1 providers for diagnostic laboratory testing.
