In addition to entrance health requirements, the following testing and vaccinations are required of each MD or PA student ANNUALLY (even if the student is also pursuing another degree, such as MPH, MA, MBA, or PhD).
For annual testing, students may choose to have either a PPD test (requires a return visit to have the test result read) OR a Quantiferon blood test. (Note: entering MD students MUST complete a blood test, Quantiferon or T-Spot.)
For annual testing, students must complete a Quantiferon blood test.
All MD and PA students must be immunized against influenza each year.
