See the information below for Vaden Health Services appointment options. Many of the services offered are covered by the Campus Health Service Fee (assessed quarterly to eligible students who are registered for classes and/or paying tuition). However, some clinical services are fee-for-service (meaning they will be billed to your health insurance). As of September 1, 2026, in addition to Cardinal Care, Vaden will be able to bill many other health insurances for services not covered under the Health Fee. - Medical Services – For Primary Care, Travel Health, Immunizations, and other Medical appointments, schedule on line per the instructions below or call 650.498.2336
- Starting September 1, 2026, medical appointments can be made via the Stanford Health Care (SHC) MyHealth portal. You will need a MyHealth account to use the portal. If you do not have an SHC MyHealth account, contact askvaden-grp@stanfordhealthcare.org to request an activation email.

Tips for ALL appointments:
- Be sure to understand where your appointment will be held; virtually, at Vaden Health Center, at Kingscote Gardens, at Rogers House, or at one of the satellite locations (e.g., Law School or Graduate School of Business).
- Check in 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
- If you are late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule to prevent impact to other students.
- If you can’t make your appointment, please cancel in advance, ideally 24 hours ahead.
- If you think you may have special needs during your appointment, please call the associated unit number so our staff can assist you.
- Some appointments may require completion of a questionnaire in advance. Please be sure to check your email prior to your appointment and complete any requested forms.
- Be sure to bring your insurance card to your appointment in case you need it for services that are not covered under the Health Fee.
