Additional Programs and Services

In addition to directly supporting students impacted by sexual, relationship, and gender based violence, we offer the following community services. Contact us for more information!

Consultation for campus partners and administrators.

CST provides consultation to campus partners and administrators around trauma-informed, survivor-friendly campus practices, policies, and decisions. When consulting in this way, CST sometimes shares generalized observations based on themes that have emerged across the experiences of the numerous students we have worked with. While we believe this is an important function of our work that is beneficial to our campus community, we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of individual students and their specific experiences.

Consultation to faculty, staff and student organizations.

CST is available to faculty, staff, and students seeking support in how to respond to sexual, relationship, and gender based violence. We can provide support with urgent and ongoing needs, including consultation regarding reporting obligations, how to support a survivor, and/or how to help a student access services.

Consultation in developing trauma-informed programming.

CST clinicians have expertise in trauma informed care and can support students, staff, and faculty in developing trauma-informed, survivor friendly programming. We have provided consultation related to academic courses, awareness raising and healing events, and creation of public art.

Assistance connecting to other on- and off-campus support resources.

CST can help students and other members of the community connect with other on- and off-campus resources addressing sexual, relationship, and gender based violence as well as other aspects of mental health and wellbeing.

We provide training for Psychiatry fellows, Psychiatry Department postdoctoral fellows, and doctoral students in the Stanford-PAU consortium PsyD program who wish to develop skills in supporting students impacted by sexual, relationship, and gender-based violence. We emphasize urgent/crisis support, brief support, and evidence based psychotherapy, as well as trauma informed institutional practices.
