Sexual Health Peer Resource Center (SHPRC)
The SHPRC is an informative office filled with information and products—everything you always wanted to know about sex. We also provide individual consultations so can confidentially discuss your sexual concerns with a trained counselor. Just drop by, no appointment needed!
Registered Stanford students may receive twelve condoms each regular quarter, free of charge, with a valid Stanford ID. Substitutions for lube samples, female condoms, dental dams, chemical contraceptives, and massage oil samples are allowed at the rate of one per three male condoms. Latex gloves are available free of charge. You may also buy these from the center at reduced cost, in limited quantities. (We have thousands of condoms, we just want you to return! As our t-shirt from last year says, “Thank you, come again!”). Early pregnancy tests (EPTs) are also available.
The SHPRC also has a vast library of books that may be checked out with a valid Stanford ID and a cash or check deposit.
Prescription items are, of course, not available through the center, but are available through Vaden Student Health Center. For more information, call Vaden at 723-4841.
Educational Workshops & Seminars
SHPRC offers outreach programs for residences and student groups. Topics include birth control methods, pregnancy alternatives, and sexually transmitted infections.
