Dermatology at Vaden

Dr. Joanna Badger, a Stanford dermatologist, sees patients at Vaden most Wednesday afternoons.  Appointments can be scheduled on other days at the Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center in Redwood City.

A referral from a primary care provider is needed in order to set up an appointment with Dr. Badger and visits are billed to your health insurance.  There is a $20 co-pay if you are enrolled in Cardinal Care. Other insurance coverage may vary.

Eating Disorders Medical Specialty Clinic at Vaden

The Eating Disorders Specialty Clinic at Vaden provides medical assessments and on-going monitoring and support for adolescents and young adults with eating disorders and related health issues. It is staffed by physicians and dietitians from Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.

The Eating Disorders Specialty Clinic is offered Wednesday mornings at Vaden Health Center and additional days at its location in Mountain View.

Visits are billed to your health insurance.  There is a $20 co-pay if you are enrolled in Cardinal Care. Other insurance coverage may vary.

Optometry Services at Vaden

Optometry services are now offered at Vaden, including routine eye exams and contact lens fittings.  Our insurance and referral office can process referrals without a visit to a health care provider.

If you are on Cardinal Care, you are entitled to one eye exam per year. The co-pay is $20.00.  Other insurance plans are welcome, but the cost may vary.

*Please note that if you have a medical problem (i.e., retinal problem, corneal ulcer or abrasion, etc.) you will need to consult with a health care provider for a possible referral to the Stanford Ophthalmology Department.

Dr. Michael Fredericson, from the Stanford Sports Medicine Center, sees patients at Vaden most Wednesday afternoons.  Appointments can be scheduled on other days at the Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center in Redwood City.
