Referrals

In most cases, patients can meet their health care needs at Vaden Student Health Center. We provide comprehensive medical, psychological, health promotion services, including on-site nutrition and physical therapy consultations.

To see an outside specialist, simply schedule an appointment with your primary care provider at Vaden for a referral. A referral is also required for in-house physical therapy. Services provided by physical therapy or outside consultants are the financial responsibility of the patient or the patient’s insurance provider.

In the event of an emergency, no referral is needed to access the hospital emergency room.
