Stanford students juggle many different academic, career, social and personal goals and demands. We encourage you to learn more about how to achieve a balanced lifestyle that enhances your ability to reach your goals and strengthens your vitality, optimism and sense of fulfillment at Stanford. The links below will lead you to a wide variety of information about a balanced life.

You can draw upon these health practices to feel well balanced and more peaceful. They offer an abundance of healing advice from health and wellness research. Also, consider exploring mind-body activities, such as Yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation, which calm the mind, energize the body and restore your well being when you feel stressed out.

The practices will enhance your physical and emotional health, self-esteem, ability to heal faster from illness and perhaps increase your longevity. We hope that your exploration of balance will help you take better care of your mind, body and spirit.
